Richard Broomhead

Managing Partner/Owner

Richard is the owner of The Tayler Group and is accountable for the ongoing operations and growth of the business.  Broomhead brings 15+ years of experience in Executive Search, successfully building and running businesses in Europe, Latin America, and the US.

Prior to setting up The Tayler Group, Richard spent 5 years in London, 5 years in Brazil, and 4 years in New York running search businesses primarily focused on Financial Services and FinTech before “Fintech” became professional vernacular.  The diversity of his experience drives his creative decision-making, which he sees as a major asset for The Tayler Group. He has a track record of mentoring leadership teams at start-ups, raising capital for clients, connecting technology and consulting firms as well as optimizing search processes for The Tayler Group’s select client base.

Richard drives an authentic, long-term, consultative, high-value culture with his team and clients. He prioritizes culture above all at The Tayler Group and believes a high level of accountability and top-notch service for clients begins by driving this ethos internally.   

In addition to Executive Search, Richard leads The Tayler Group Future Talent Connector program, which works with young adults to prepare them for the world of work and connect them to valuable internship experiences.

 
 

Alexandra Seltzer

Head of Management Consulting & Professional Services Practice

Alexandra leads the Management Consulting and Professional Services practice at The Tayler Group. She works across the Professional Services spectrum, with a specialty in identifying and extracting the best revenue-generating business and technology consulting leaders across industries. She has successfully completed mandates across multiple geographies including North America, Europe, and the Middle East. 

Alexandra’s executive search career began in the Aerospace and Defense industry where she specialized in confidential searches for the US’ top Defense contractors. She quickly became one of the top recruiters at the firm and subsequently joined The Tayler Group to develop a team and grow her own practice.

As the first US hire, Alexandra has been an integral part of the firm’s growth. She is an intellectual and methodical recruiter who constructed The Tayler Group’s proprietary research methodology, which is the force behind The Tayler Group’s consistent success. She also brings an authentic, fun personality to her work which results in all of her candidates & clients enjoying their interactions with her. 

Alexandra is an enthusiastic and fearless headhunter with a work ethic that never quits.

 
 

Andrew Fine

Head of Technology Sales Practice

Andrew heads up the FinTech Sales Executive Search business at The Tayler Group. He is responsible for the end-to-end relationship management, and the placement of Senior Sales Contributors and C-Level Leaders with small/mid-sized FinTech, Data and Research Vendors, focusing on the Financial Services domain.  

Prior to pursuing a career in Executive Search, he spent 3 years at Bloomberg in an Account Management position, where he managed relationships among Sales & Trading, Middle Office, and Fixed Income Technology stakeholders at 2 of the “Big 5” Canadian Banks.  

Andrew joined the business in 2018, continuing his career in FinTech and pursuing his passion for working with people.  He is a relationship-builder at heart, who creates results by combining a collaborative style with his deep understanding of the Financial Technology ecosystem to create results. Andrew is deeply motivated to deliver the best possible outcomes for his clients and believes that business must be continuously earned and takes nothing for granted.  

Andrew lives in Jersey City with his fiancé and Golden Retriever.  He is an uncle of four, and is passionate about his family, lifting weights, and the New York Giants.

 
 

Rebecca Miles

Consultant & Research Lead

Rebecca is part of the Management Consulting & FinTech practices at The Tayler Group, focused on placing senior leaders across the US. She specializes in conducting high-level financial services searches for Management Consultancies, as well as senior technologists for FinTech organizations, Challenger Banks, and Mid-Market Private Equity firms.

Originally from the UK, Rebecca moved over to the US for her Undergraduate studies at NYU. She attained a Bachelor's degree focused on History, Economics, and the Business of Entertainment, Media & Technology. Alongside her BA she began her studies toward a graduate program at NYU and received her Master's in History.

She initially joined the team in a research capacity, helping to source candidates for roles predominantly in the Management Consulting practice. Because of her strong academic research background, Rebecca was hired to lead the firm's research capabilities, as well as to build up and train the internal research team in NYC. Since joining full time Rebecca's position has evolved to include full ownership of the search process and significant exposure to the market. 

Outside of work Rebecca spends her time traveling, hiking and spending time with friends and family. She is also an accomplished equestrian eventer, having competed at the national level in the UK.

Marek Nosal

Consultant

Marek is part of the FinTech Sales Executive Search business at The Tayler Group. Working alongside Andrew Fine, he is responsible for the identification and placement of Senior Sales Contributors and C-Level Leaders at small-mid sized FinTech, Data and Research Vendors, focusing on the Financial Services domain.  

Prior to joining the company, he worked as a Researcher at an International boutique executive search firm focused on the Financial Services space. After spending a successful 3 years there, Marek joined The Tayler Group to focus on Executive level searches and develop his commercial skillset. 

Marek brings an impressive balance of diligence and work-narrative development into his role. He has an academic approach to his research overlaid by a passion for learning about his clients and effectively telling their stories to the market. Candidates benefit from his high-touch approach and detailed coaching style, which allow him to add significant value to his network. 

A Prague native, Marek now lives in Brooklyn. In his free time, he enjoys an active lifestyle of martial arts, running, traveling, and reading. He earned his bachelor’s degree from New York University where he graduated with a double-major in Economics and Philosophy.

 
 
 

Billy Remsen

Consultant

Billy is part of the Management Consulting practice, focusing on placing senior leaders across the US. Working alongside Alexandra and Rebecca, he is responsible for identification and placement of high-level Partners and Business Development executives at Management Consultancies.

Prior to joining the company, Billy worked as a Senior Associate at Third Bridge a global expert network firm. He oversaw primary research for credit clients focusing on high yield, distressed debt, and private credit opportunities.

Billy joined the business in 2021, pursuing his passion for working with people and a growing team. Billy is motivated by being a team-player, and his prior experience in primary research allows clients and candidates to benefit from his holistic approach. With his background in relationship-building, Billy is able to deliver results through keen intuition and a passion for learning about his clients.

Originally from Long Island, Billy recently moved back to New York. Outside of work, he is an avid movie watcher and enjoys playing golf and squash. 

 
 

Shahd Azab

Head of Strategic Operations

Shahd leads the Strategic Operations at The Tayler Group focusing particularly on business operations, media, and marketing, while working with leadership to implement new processes, technology and strategy.

Prior to coming to The Tayler Group, Shahd held senior operations manager roles in the startup space, across several industries including Biotech and FinTech. She completed a Masters of Science in Bioinnovation in 2016 from Temple University which opened the doors of the entrepreneurial world for her and led her into the startup scene with an understanding of how to successfully map out the needs of a new and emerging business.  

Shahd joins The Tayler Group bringing her creativity and rigor to the table. She was drawn to the team because of the incredible culture they exuded and their clear vision of the company’s future.

Outside of work, Shahd looks forward to watching Sunday morning soccer matches with her family every week and can be found wherever the coffee is in the building.

 
 

Devon Cooper

Researcher

 Devon is currently an Executive Search Research Associate within the Management Consulting Practice. She works alongside Billy and Alexandra, focusing primarily on researching senior roles within the consulting and healthcare space. 

Devon will be graduating from Hofstra University in May 2022, with her graduate degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from St. Joseph’s University. Prior to entering graduate school, she worked as a Practice Manager at Philadelphia DBT Associates, a clinical psychiatric practice.   

Devon brings her specialized experience in industrial/organizational psychology, talent & recruitment, and research methodology to optimize the candidate search process.  

Originally from Pennsylvania, she moved to New York for graduate school. Apart from work and academia, she enjoys fine dining with friends and family.   

 
 

Cynthia Lau

Head of business development - SOUTH FLORIDA

Cynthia is the Head of Business Development at the Tayler Group. She leads the Tayler Group’s business development strategy by connecting the Taylor Groups Executive Search Industry expertise with high growth technology organizations in the South Florida region. Her client base consists of Management Consulting, FinTech organizations, Challenger Banks, and Mid-Market Private Equity firms where she leverages and retains long lasting partnerships along with increasing brand presence. 

Born in Cuba, with Chinese and Spanish roots, Cynthia moved from Cuba to the US at the age of five. A multilingual and progress-driven individual, prior to joining the Tayler Group, she spent five years leveraging sales efficiency in creating highly effective, cross-functional working relationships for companies in the technology and real estate sector. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree at Florida International University, she pursued her Master’s degree in Business at Nova Southeastern University with a concentration in Business Intelligence and Analytics. 

Cynthia joined the Tayler Group, pursuing her passion of leading, building relationships, and solidifying long term partnerships. Her passionate yet extroverted personality along with a head hunter mentality drive her towards generating, establishing, and retaining key partnerships with industry leading companies. 

Outside of work, she has a passion for philanthropy and the world of the arts. She has traveled to 26 countries and counting, plays the piano, competes in latin dance, and is happiest when near or better yet at the beach surrounded by family and friends. An animal lover, is only fitting she owns three dogs named, Bear (who actually looks like a bear), Lily, and Lady.
